Pistorius arrived in Ukraine on an unannounced visit

On January 14, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius made an unannounced visit to Kyiv to discuss further support for Ukraine in its war against the Russian Federation. About this informs n-tv.

“It is important for me to show with this trip that we continue to actively support Ukraine. This is a signal that Germany, as the largest NATO country in Europe, supports Ukraine. Not alone, but with the “Big Five” and many other allies.”, – declared Pistorius immediately after his arrival.

Earlier, the Minister of Defense of Germany held negotiations on further support for Kyiv with his colleagues from Poland, France, Italy and Warsaw. Germany, together with its partners, seeks to intensify efforts to strengthen the Ukrainian defense industry.

We will remind that Germany is one of the key allies of Ukraine in the conditions of a full-scale war, providing humanitarian, financial and military assistance. Berlin accepted a significant number of Ukrainian refugees, providing them with housing, social benefits, medical care and access to education.
