Polish presidential candidate suggests opponent take drug tests after gesture during TV debate

The candidate for the presidency of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, who is supported by the opposition party “Law and Justice”, turned to his opponent from the current government, Rafal Tszaskowski, with a proposal to pass tests for the presence of narcotic substances together. The reason was the suspicions that appeared in the network after the televised debate on Friday, when Navrotsky put something in his mouth in front of the audience. informs RMF FM.
This scene caused a wave of speculation in social networks – some expressed the opinion that it was about the use of prohibited substances. Navrotsky himself denied these rumors on RMF FM the next day. According to him, he used an ordinary nicotine packet, explaining it as follows: “When you listen to Tszaskowski, who constantly talks about his imaginary successes in Warsaw, that’s when nicotine really comes in handy.”
In order to dispel suspicions, Navrotsky publicly offered Tshaskovsky to undergo a medical examination for the content of drugs in the blood together. He also called on both election headquarters to take the same step. The proposal was made on the eve of the next stage of the presidential race.
Rafal Tshaskovskyi, commenting on the situation during a meeting with voters in Tsehocinek, answered evasively:
“Ask Mr. Karol what he did yesterday. Let him explain himself.”
And later, addressing the pensioners, the candidate emphasized that the source of his energy is just such meetings.
“You are my answer to journalists’ questions about where I get my strength from. And yes, I’m sure you’re wondering what’s up with Mr. Karol.” he added, hinting at his rival.
At the same time, Tshaskovsky noted that youth is not determined by the date in the document, it is given by communication with people.
