Але у них не було причин для нападу”, – зазначив Трамп. На його переконання, війни Росії проти України “не повинно було бути”. Також він наголосив, що Україну атакувала країна, яка набагато більша і набагато сильніша. “Але Росію можна було так легко відмовити від цього”, – підкреслив Трамп. Також він виразив впевненість, що Володимир Путін хоче укласти мирну угоду. “І він не зобов’язаний укладати угоду, тому що якби він захотів, то отримав би всю країну”, – наголосив президент США. При цьому, за словами Трампа, він “не намагається зробити Путіна кращим або добрішим”.

In his opinion, Russia’s war against Ukraine “should not have happened”. He also emphasized that Ukraine was attacked by a much larger and much stronger country.
“But Russia could have been so easily dissuaded from this,” – emphasized Trump.
He also expressed confidence that Vladimir Putin wants to conclude a peace agreement.
“And he is not obliged to make a deal, because if he wanted to, he would get the whole country”, – emphasized the US president.
At the same time, according to Trump, he is “not trying to make Putin better or kinder.”
