Polish presidential candidate Trzaskowski underwent military training as part of the “Train with the Army” campaign

The candidate for the presidency of Poland from the Civic Coalition, the current mayor of Warsaw, Rafal Tszaskowski, announced that he took part in basic military training. The classes were held as part of the government’s “Train with the Army” initiative, which provides open access for all those willing to practical training in the basics of handling weapons, shooting, self-defense, navigation without GPS, survival in the field and providing first aid.

The politician emphasized that such training is an effective way to learn or recall important skills in a short period of time under the guidance of specialists, which will be useful not only in combat conditions, but also in everyday life.

“I am sincerely grateful to the professional team from the base of the 1st Warsaw Armored Brigade in Wesol for this opportunity. It was good to see how many people – both men and women – are eager to join the common cause of security. It’s really inspiring.” noted Tshaskovsky.

He added that such training is useful not only at the individual level, but also strengthens society as a whole:

“The better prepared each of us is, the stronger the entire nation is in times of any crisis.”

As a reminder, the first round of presidential elections in Poland is scheduled for May 18, 2025. If necessary, the second round will be held on June 1.
