Putin signed a decree on the conscription of reservists for military training

Vladimir Putin signed a decree that provides for the holding of military meetings for reservists in 2025. This is reported by rosZMI.

These fees are aimed at maintaining the combat capability and increasing the level of training of persons in the reserve. Specific details regarding the timing of the event, the number of reservists involved and their duties will be determined later.

The decree also declares 2025 the “Year of the Defender of the Fatherland” in Russia. For its implementation, an organizational committee was created under the leadership of the head of the Presidential Administration, Anton Vaino. The plans include measures at the federal and regional levels, the financing of which will be agreed separately.

Regional authorities are recommended to join the implementation of this initiative. As stated in the decree, the goal is to preserve historical memory, support veterans, and create a positive image of “defenders of the Motherland.”
