Restrictions on card transfers of individuals will negatively affect citizens: Yuzhanin

Member of the Verkhovna Rada from the “European Solidarity” faction and member of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Nina Yuzhanina expressed concern about the introduction of restrictions on card transfers of individuals. According to her, such restrictions will have a negative impact on the opportunities of every citizen.
“Corresponding restrictions on transfers will affect the opportunities of absolutely every citizen. There are a lot of young families who definitely do small amounts, but more transactions than 30“, Yuzhanina noted.
She emphasized that restrictions on the number of transactions will also negatively affect the activities of volunteers.
“Very often in especially large companies that are going to donate to the cards of registered, officially organized members of this charitable organization, that is, employees essentially open a card for themselves and, being in the register, accept money and transfer it. The number of transactions, I think, is for one day is bigger than you can imagine from what they offer”Yuzhanina explained.
It is noted that the National Bank of Ukraine is currently working with groups representing charitable organizations, activists and volunteers to find a solution to this problem.
As reported, deputy from “Servant of the People” and deputy head of the committee on finance, tax and customs policy Olga Vasylevska-Smaglyuk also expressed concern about the new limits of the National Bank. She noted that these restrictions may negatively affect donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
