On the night of March 22, the Rostov region of the Russian Federation was attacked by attack drones. In Rostov-on-Don, high-rise residential buildings were hit, and there were casualties. This was reported by acting Yuriy Slyusar, Governor of Rostov Oblast.
“At night, the UAV attack was repelled in Rostov, Salsk, Millerovsky, Chortkivsky and Sholokhovsky districts”, – the message says.
As a result of a drone attack in Rostov-on-Don, an explosion occurred in an apartment building on Miskradivska Street, 49. The facade and six apartments were damaged – windows and frames on several floors were broken. There are no casualties. Two victims were hospitalized, several residents were treated on the spot. People were not evacuated. Emergency services arrived at the scene.
In the Proletarsky district of Rostov, a UAV explosion also occurred on the 17th floor of a high-rise apartment building on 49/1 Sovietyanska Street.
“In Salsk, due to the fall of a drone, glass was broken in a shop, an art museum and an apartment building at 10 Lenin Street. According to the operational services, people were not injured”, – specified Slyusar.
