Rubio says there will be no nuclear weapons in Iran during Trump’s presidency

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Iran will not get nuclear weapons during the presidency of Donald Trump. About this informs press service of the US State Department.
Rubio noted that the Trump administration intends to return to the policy of maximum pressure on the Iranian regime. He refrained from revealing details about specific measures that could be taken to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons, but emphasized:
“But I want to make it clear that the Iranian regime must never be allowed to have nuclear weapons with which they can hold the whole world hostage and potentially attack Israel.” emphasized the state secretary.
Rubio also noted that if the US had intended to eliminate the Iranian regime, it would have already happened.
“But the president is a peacemaker. He would prefer to avoid this and prevent similar circumstances… but there will be no nuclear Iran under Donald Trump.” – he concluded.
It will be recalled that Trump plans to resume his strategy of “maximum pressure” on Iran in order to prevent it from obtaining nuclear weapons.
