On the night of July 29, Russian troops attacked a penal colony in the Zaporizhzhia region. 16 people died as a result of the attack. About this reported Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration.
“At night, the enemy shelled the Zaporizhzhia district 8 times, first with anti-aircraft guns. They also hit the correctional colony. 16 people were killed, 35 were wounded. All the necessary medical assistance is provided to the injured. The premises of the institution were destroyed. Private houses nearby were damaged.”, says the message.
During the day, Russian troops carried out 672 strikes on 14 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region. Bilenka, Zaliznychne, Biloghirya, Malinivka and Novoandriivka came under enemy airstrikes. Ten airstrikes were carried out on these settlements.
As a result of the use of 461 drones of various modifications, mainly FPV, Malokaterinivka, Kamianske, Gulyaipole, Orihiv, Shcherbaki, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka and Charivne were attacked. Twelve barrages of rocket salvo fire systems were directed at Hryhorivka, Kamianskyi, Shcherbaki, Malya Tokmachka and Charivny.
The enemy made 189 artillery strikes on the territory of Kamianskyi, Gulyaipol, Orikhov, Shcherbaki, Novodanilivka, Malaya Tokmachka, Charivny, Sweety and Preobrazhenka. As a result of the attacks, 24 reports were received about the damage to residential apartments, private houses and farm buildings.
