Russia struck Kyiv with “Kinzhals”

On the morning of December 20, Russia struck Kiev, using at least four Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles. This information confirmed in the Air Force.

According to the agency, a series of powerful explosions rang out in the city, which residents felt – houses shook from the shock waves. The mayor of Kyiv reported on the active operation of air defense systems.

Around 6:40 a.m., the takeoff of two MiG-31K aircraft capable of carrying Kinjal missiles was recorded. As early as 7:00 am, four rockets were aimed at the capital.

“The air alert continues! Air defense is operating in the capital. Stay in shelters until the air alert goes off!”, – says in messages KMVA.

The day before, during a conversation with citizens, Russian President Vladimir Putin hinted at the possibility of using the Oreshnik missile against Kyiv to “see if they can intercept it.” At 6:59, the Air Force reported the movement of a high-speed target in the direction of the capital, similar alerts also appeared at 7:03, 7:07 and 7:09.
