After the meeting with Shmyhal: Zelensky announced new personnel appointments in the government
Recently, there have been many rumors about the possible resignation of the current government.

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the preparation of important personnel changes in the structure of the government, which should strengthen the efficiency of state administration. That’s what he’s about stated in his evening address to the nation.
The head of state noted that during the day he held a meeting with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. The discussion was devoted to the reconstruction of the country, especially in regions such as Kharkiv, Poltava region, Volyn and Rivne.
“This concerns both the completion of important facilities and the determination of key priorities for recovery, as well as the involvement of people who are able to ensure the full implementation of state tasks. Personnel decisions are being prepared at the government level.”, – emphasized the president.
Zelenskyi also announced the preparation of additional measures that will allow as many Ukrainian children as possible to return to offline school education this fall. This is one of the priority tasks of the government in the near future.
We will remind that in July the mass media reported on a possible change of the prime minister. Economy Minister Yuliya Svyridenko is being considered as a potential candidate to replace Denys Shmyhal.
The last significant personnel changes in the government took place in May, when the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Oleksandr Kubrakov from the post of Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure, as well as Mykola Solskyi from the post of Minister of Agrarian Policy.
