Russian drones attacked Dnipro: fires broke out, there are wounded

On the evening of April 8, a series of explosions was recorded in Dnipro between 10:30 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. — the city was hit by Russian troops using drones. As a result of the attack, at least 14 people were injured, residential buildings and cars were damaged. About this reported Serhiy Lysak, head of the regional military administration.
“At the moment, we know about 14 victims of the attack by the BpLA on the Dnipro. They are from 18 to 87 years old. Half of the victims are hospitalized. One person remains in a serious condition, the rest is in an average condition. Doctors are always nearby. People have cut wounds, shrapnel injuries, bruises, craniocerebral injuries.” – says the message.
In the city, 15 private residences and 4 multi-story buildings were damaged, about twenty cars were seriously damaged. Destruction was also recorded on the territory of several enterprises. The administrative building and infrastructure facilities were damaged. All sources of ignition were eliminated by rescuers.
Mayor Boris Filatov clarified, that as a result of the attack, at least 200 windows in high-rise buildings were broken. Information on the scale of the destruction is still being clarified. Later, he noted that five high-rise buildings were damaged, some of them had gas lines damaged. Destruction has also been recorded in the private sector.
“Utility services have already started liquidating the consequences — they are removing glass, clearing driveways. In the morning, the district commission will also collect applications for inspection of damaged property on site.” added the mayor of Dnipro.
