The Cabinet of Ministers has extended until April 30, 2025 the special conditions for the preferential supply of gas to heating and communal energy companies, domestic consumers, operators of gas distribution systems and electricity producers. This decision was adopted at a meeting on August 23, as reported by Naftogaz Ukraine.
Oleksiy Chernyshov, the chairman of the board of Naftogaz, noted that in view of the possible difficulties this winter, the company strives to ensure stability and predictability for Ukrainians and businesses during the next heating season. Gas will remain the main source of energy, and Naftogaz, as the largest national energy company, will support Ukrainians in these difficult times.
Here are the gas prices that will remain in effect until the end of the next heating season:
- For the public: UAH 7.96 per cubic meter including VAT
- For the production of thermal energy for the population: UAH 7.42
- For the production of thermal energy for budgetary institutions: UAH 16.39
- For the production of electricity in the condensation cycle: UAH 10.5
- For the production of electricity in the heating cycle: UAH 16.5
