In January-February 2025, the volume of goods imported into Ukraine was 11.3 billion dollars, and the volume of exports was 6.3 billion dollars. About this reported State Customs Service.
Among the main suppliers of goods to Ukraine, China is the leader, from where products worth 2.6 billion dollars were imported. It is followed by Poland with a volume of 1 billion dollars and Germany with 841 million dollars.
Most of the Ukrainian goods were exported to Poland — $714 million, Spain — $464 million, and Italy — $449 million.
In the total volume of imports during this period, 67% fell on three main categories of goods:
- machines, equipment and transport in the amount of 4.3 billion dollars, of which 26.3 billion hryvnias of customs payments were paid to the budget;
- products of the chemical industry — 2 billion dollars (15.8 billion hryvnias of customs revenues);
- fuel and energy products — 1.4 billion dollars (26.8 billion hryvnias).
The basis of Ukrainian exports was:
- food products worth 3.7 billion dollars,
- metals and products from them – 624 million dollars,
- machines, equipment and transport — 568 million dollars.
We will remind that in 2024, the turnover of Ukraine increased by 13% compared to 2023, reaching 112.3 billion dollars (in 2023 — 99.4 billion dollars, in 2022 — 99.7 billion dollars).
