Sky News cancels another interview with Boris Johnson

Sky News political correspondent Beth Rigby refused to conduct an interview with the former Prime Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson due to restrictions that prohibited the audio recording and transcript of the conversation. About this journalist reported on his page in the social network X (formerly Twitter).
The interview was planned for October 10 in the city of Cheltenham as part of the promotion of Johnson’s memoir called Unleashed (“Unleashed”), but due to the requirements prohibiting the recording of the interview, the journalist was forced to refuse the meeting.
“I can’t record the interview under such restrictions, so unfortunately I have to give it up”, – wrote Rigby.
She also expressed regret that she would not be able to speak with Johnson, stressing that audio recording and transcription are important tools to ensure accuracy and professionalism in journalism.
