Starting in September, CCC employees will wear body cameras: Denys Shmyhal

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal reported, that from September 1, employees of territorial procurement centers (TCC) will use body cameras to record the moment of service of summonses.

“Since September 1, all TCC and JV employees are required to wear body cameras and perform video recording during the inspection of documents or the delivery of summonses. Disciplinary liability is provided in case of violation of the recording rules. This step will ensure the transparency and legality of the activities of TCC alert groups, as well as protect the rights of both parties.”, says the message.

The minister also clarified that currently TCCs are equipped with cameras for 85%, and the purchase of additional devices is underway in order to have time to fully equip employees before the new requirements come into force.

We will remind you that in Lviv and the Lviv region, representatives of territorial procurement centers started using body cameras in order to prevent conflict situations as early as the beginning of 2025.

“Now the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are faced with the task of the General Staff, regarding the mobilization of the population of the Lviv region during daily patrols and the implementation of citizen notification measures, will use body cameras.

We appeal to the citizens who are not aware of the fulfillment of their constitutional duties and who, after almost two years of full-scale war, still have not entered the military register, justifying their irresponsibility by repeating the messages and theses that are actively spread by the hostile IPSO and are aimed at disrupting mobilization measures. — noted the Lviv Regional TCC and SP.
