Sweden allowed Ukraine to use its weapons to attack the Russian Federation

Swedish Defense Minister Paul Jonson confirmed Ukraine’s right to use weapons provided by Sweden to defend its territory, including strikes on military targets on Russian territory.

Recently, Ukraine received Archer artillery systems from Sweden, while last year the Swedish parliament, authorizing the country’s government, approved the sale of Jaktrobot Rb 99 air-to-air missiles (launch range – up to 70 km) to the United States, which, in turn, intended to transfer them Ukraine, however, the implementation of this agreement remains in question.
Earlier, the German chancellor spoke against Kyiv using Western weapons for strikes on Russian territory. He noted that his policy regarding Ukraine aims to prevent “this from becoming a big war.”
