Sweden will transfer almost $113 million worth of air defense systems to Ukraine

The Swedish government has announced that it will transfer air defense systems worth 1.2 billion kroner (almost $113 million) to Ukraine. These are Robot 70 and Tridon Mk2 systems, informs The Swedish Daily.
“Now we can announce the purchase of air defense systems for a total amount of 1.2 billion kroner to be donated to Ukraine. By supporting Ukraine, we are strengthening our own security.” – noted in the Swedish government.
In total, since February 2022, Sweden has sent about 73.2 billion Swedish kroner (about 6.45 billion dollars) to support Ukraine.
It will be recalled that earlier it was reported that the countries of the European Union discussed a package of military aid for Ukraine in the amount of at least 6 billion euros. It is designed to strengthen its strategic position before the US-led negotiations with Russia.
