TCC employees raid Okean Elzy’s performance in Kyiv

On Friday, October 11, after the end of the concert of the rock band “Ocean Elsa” in Kyiv, representatives of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC and SP) together with the police checked the military registration documents of the men who attended the event. According to information from Telegram channels and mass media, some of the citizens were detained.

The incident took place near the Palace of Sports, where the presence of about fifty employees of the TCC and SP and the police was recorded. They stopped the men to check their documents, and in some cases detained them. According to witnesses, the checks aroused considerable interest from visitors and became the reason for the spread of information on social networks, where photos and videos of the event were published.

At this moment, no official comments have been received from the Kyiv TCC regarding the situation. According to “hromadske”, detentions were carried out against men who had problems with military registration documents or those who refused to present them. Some citizens were issued summonses for further attendance at the TCC, after which they were released.

It is important to remind that in Ukraine, according to the legislation on mobilization training and martial law, men aged 18 to 60 are required to carry military registration documents and present them at the request of representatives of the police or TCC and SP. Document checks can be carried out in any public places, including roadblocks and other locations.
