The Armed Forces of Ukraine denied information about the encirclement of Ukrainian units in the Vremivka direction
Spokesman of the Defense Forces of the South Vladyslav Voloshyn stated, that the situation in the Vremiv region remains tense, but there is no need to talk about the encirclement of Ukrainian troops at the moment.
«Now, the enemy has been carrying out more than 40 assaults in the Vremivsk direction for several days in a row: yesterday – 47, today – 44. He is trying to bypass Novosilka from the eastern flank and even from the north. At the same time, the Defense Forces of the South are aware of these intentions, are conducting active defense, and are carrying out stabilization measures, and therefore it is too early to talk about any encirclement at the moment“, the message says.
Voloshyn also emphasized that the enemy is suffering significant losses: about 200 occupiers and tens of units of their equipment are destroyed every day. During the previous day, 8 tanks and up to 15 armored vehicles were eliminated, and during the current day – 4 tanks and up to 5 armored combat vehicles.
It was previously reported that the Deep State military resource indicated the risk of being surrounded by the garrison of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in Makarivka, located near Velika Novosilka on the Vremivsky ledge.
