In the Belgorod region of Russia, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed four enemy attack helicopters. They were eliminated by missile strikes from HIMARS systems, informs press service of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine.
“The forces of special operations in cooperation with the GUR of the Ministry of Defense, the Missile Forces and artillery destroyed two enemy helicopters Ka-52 and two Mi-8”, – the message says.
The attack was carried out against the enemy’s rear position, where Russian troops had set up a camouflaged platform for the rapid movement of aircraft and surprise strikes on Ukrainian forces. The strike was carried out with HIMARS M30A2 ammunition, each of which contains 180,000 tungsten fragments.
“The enemy once again thought that in the deep rear was unattainable. We once again proved that there is nothing unattainable for the SSO.” – said the special forces.
We will remind that the Armed Forces continue the operation in the Belgorod region of Russia. Several settlements near the border came under Ukrainian control. On March 22, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced a successful airstrike on the command post of the Russian border post in Glotovo, Belgorod Region. Despite enhanced camouflage, the Ukrainian pilots managed to destroy the enemy object.
