The Cabinet of Ministers announced the date of the first cashback payment

Ukrainians will receive the first payment of “National Cashback” from October 22 to 31, the total amount of payments will be 37.2 million hryvnias accumulated for purchases in September. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Economy.
The money will be credited to those citizens who bought Ukrainian goods, and the amount of their cashback for September exceeded 2 hryvnias. In total, there were 646,000 such consumers. For the rest, whose accruals were less than 2 hryvnias or were absent at all, no payments are provided.
The Ministry of Economy noted that the condition for receiving cashback is to activate the card for payments through the Diya application. Those who managed to do this will receive their charges in October. However, by the end of September, more than 300,000 people had not yet activated the card. They will be able to receive their payments in November, after activation.
The received cashback will not be taxed, as the relevant law has already been adopted by the Verkhovna Rada. These funds can be used to pay for utilities, medical expenses, transport and other services, or can be donated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine or purchase military bonds.
As a reminder, cashback in the amount of 10% of the purchase price is charged for the purchase of Ukrainian goods included in the program and is paid from the state budget. The maximum amount of payments is 3 thousand hryvnias per month.
The program is coordinated by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, and implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the State Tax Service, banks, as well as international payment systems Mastercard and Visa.
