The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a set of measures to prepare for the new heating season. About this informs Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
The government has adopted a decision that will ensure the stable passage of the heating season and uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure. It is about carrying out repair work, creating fuel reserves, preparing residential buildings, medical facilities and performing other organizational and technical tasks.
The relevant order “On the approval of the plan of measures for the preparation of housing and communal facilities and the fuel and energy complex of Ukraine for the autumn-winter period of 2025/26 and its implementation” was adopted on June 11, 2025.
The plan envisages repair and restoration works in the field of energy, preparation of heat supply systems, housing stock and social infrastructure facilities. It is also planned to accumulate the necessary fuel and material resources for a stable passage of the winter period.
Control over the implementation of measures will be carried out by both central and local authorities. The implementation of this plan should strengthen the country’s energy security and help communities to better prepare for winter challenges.
