The Cabinet of Ministers closed the “Shlyakh” system for drivers transporting humanitarian goods

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the decision to terminate the functioning of the “Shlyah” system for drivers transporting humanitarian goods. Now other grounds are needed for going abroad. About this informs the press service of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved changes to Resolution No. 57, which relate to the departure of drivers transporting humanitarian and medical cargo. According to the new rules, such drivers will be able to cross the border only on general grounds, and not through registration in the “Slyah” system.
“So drivers traveling for medical and humanitarian cargo must have other grounds for crossing the border provided for by Resolution No. 57, as the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development and regional military administrations will not enter drivers into the “Slyah” system.”, the press service explained.
In addition, the government instructed the Ministry of Social Policy, which is responsible for policy in the field of humanitarian assistance, to develop a mechanism for the departure of humanitarian cargo of conscripted men together with the Ministry of Defense, the ministry added.
