The Vinnytsia City Court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention without bail for the official of the Vinnytsia Unified City Territorial Center for Staffing and Social Support and her accomplice. They are suspected of brutally beating a citizen. About this informs DBR press office.
The incident occurred in September when the victim, an employee of a critical infrastructure enterprise with a valid reservation, contacted the institution to update his personal data. During his stay at the institution, the man was referred to the deputy head.
The official, expressing dissatisfaction with his behavior, began to force him to sign a military conscript questionnaire and give up his valid reservation. When the man refused to comply with these demands, she hit him on the head, after which she began to strangle him.
Another serviceman, subordinate to the official at the time, was also in the office, and he punched the victim at least three times in the face and head. After the beating, the man’s mobile phone was taken away. As a result of the attack, he suffered a concussion, as well as bruises and cuts. The victim did not sign any documents and turned to the State Bureau of Investigation.
Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation reported the suspicion of the deputy head of the TCC and her former subordinate on the fact that military officials exceeded their official authority, which caused significant damage and was committed by a group of persons under martial law (part 1 of article 28, part 5 of article 426-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
This article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to 12 years. Procedural management in the case is carried out by the Vinnytsia Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the field of defense of the Southern region.
