President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi is emotional expressed himself regarding the missile attack that the Russian troops inflicted on Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region on the evening of April 4. According to the head of state, this attack shows that Russia does not seek an end to hostilities, but rather continues the war.
“A Russian missile in an ordinary city. Just on the street. On the territory with residential buildings. Previously, it was a ballistic strike. As of now, we know about 14 dead, among them 6 children. My condolences to the family and friends.”, — said Zelenskyi.
The president informed that a rescue operation is underway in the city. As a result of the impact, at least five residential buildings were damaged. Zelensky also published photos from the scene of the tragedy.
“Every day Russian strikes. Every day people are killed. There is only one reason why this continues: Russia does not want a cease-fire, and we see it. The whole world sees it. Every missile, every strike drone proves that Russia only wants war.”, – the president noted
Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the end of the war depends on international pressure on Russia, as well as on strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities. He believes that the US, Europe and other countries have enough resources and influence to force Russia to stop its aggression.
We will remind that on the evening of April 4, Russian troops hit a residential area of Kryvyi Rih with a ballistic missile. As a result of the attack, 18 people died, including 9 children. More than 60 were injured.
