“Regarding the situation in the area of the village of Novenke in the Sumy region, near the border with Russia. The enemy stormed this section of the border with the forces of two mechanized detachments, crossed the state border of Ukraine, but was blocked and pushed back to the territory of the Russian Federation.” – says the message.
Lykhoviy explained that Russian troops are continuing their assault, now using infantry groups. At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are taking measures to prevent logistical routes from being cut. Fighting in the area continues.
