The DPRK will introduce punishment for disclosing data on the military who died in the war against Ukraine

The North Korean authorities threaten to punish citizens who are suspected of spreading information about the deaths of soldiers in the war against Ukraine. About this informs Newsweek.
Despite tight controls on the flow of information, North Koreans discuss the hostilities privately as military casualties mount.
In response, the authorities ordered citizens to report those “spreading rumours” at workplaces and during district meetings. Those who fail to comply with this order have also been warned of possible penalties.
Workers at the Tokchon Motor Complex plant in South Pyongan province, north of Pyongyang, were among those who received the directive.
“As more reports emerge of the deaths of 11th Corps soldiers in Russia, authorities appear to be trying to quell the rumours,” – the message says.
