The Embassy of Kazakhstan calls on citizens to leave dangerous zones in Ukraine

Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine turned to its citizens with an appeal to leave the territories close to the zones of active hostilities, or to leave the country altogether.
“In connection with frequent artillery shelling and air attacks in Ukraine, for the sake of security, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ukraine recommends that citizens of Kazakhstan consider the possibility of leaving the territories close to the places of active hostilities, or leave Ukraine”, the message says.
Citizens were also urged not to ignore air warning signals, to immediately go to shelters and follow the recommendations of official authorities. To return to Kazakhstan, land routes through Poland or Moldova are offered, with further use of commercial flights.
Diplomats emphasized that a Schengen visa is required to cross the border of Poland, while a visa is not required to enter Moldova.
