The first volunteers aged 18-24 have been sworn in and will serve under new contract terms designed for this age group. About this informs press service of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“The first servicemen under the contract “18-24″ took the oath in the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade. Now they are part of one of the most powerful brigades of the Ground Forces. The guys made a conscious choice and proved their loyalty to the Ukrainian people. Training, trials and, ultimately, Victory lie ahead!”, the message says.
We will remind that on February 11, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved an annual contract for volunteers aged 18-24, which provides for a one-time payment of 1 million hryvnias. The Ministry of Defense noted that volunteers of this age category, who joined the ranks of the Armed Forces even before the introduction of new conditions, also have the right to receive this payment.
In the first week, more than 10,000 applications for a voluntary annual contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 18-24-year-olds were recorded in the “Rezerv+” mobile application.
