The General Staff of Ukraine officially confirmed the night damage to the Atlas oil depot in Russia

Defense forces of Ukraine struck the Atlas oil depot in the Rostov region of Russia, and also destroyed the radar station of the Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile complex in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhia region. As a result of the impact, a fire broke out on the territory of the “Atlas” oil depot, at least two sources of ignition were recorded. About this informs General Staff of the Armed Forces.
“On the night of November 29, an attack was made on the “Atlas” oil depot in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. As a result of the damage, a fire broke out on the territory of the object, at least two sources of ignition were recorded”, says the message.
The Atlas oil base was already attacked earlier, in the summer of 2024. It is part of the Russian military-industrial complex, which provides the supply of oil products for the needs of the Russian army. Currently, the complex has suffered serious damage and will not be able to perform its functions in the near future.
The destroyed radar station played an important role in ensuring the air defense of the Russian troops. These strikes are part of Ukraine’s efforts to reduce the combat capability of the Russian army and disrupt its logistics chains.
