The government adopted an experimental resolution introducing changes to the military registration of boys aged 17 to 25
These innovations will help optimize and identify information in the Unified State Register of conscripts, conscripts and reservists.

On August 16, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the resolution “On the implementation of an experimental project on automatic verification and verification of information on conscripts, conscripts and reservists” was adopted. This project provides for a number of important changes in military accounting, which are designed to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting of citizens, informs Ministry of Reintegration.
The main provisions of the resolution:
- Military registration for conscripts:
Young men between the ages of 17 and 25 will be automatically enrolled in military registration without having to pass a military medical commission (MMC). This rule will apply both to those who are in Ukraine and to those who are abroad.
- Verification of documents for men abroad:
Men between the ages of 18 and 60, who are abroad and apply for Ukrainian or foreign passports, will undergo verification of the validity of their military registration documents through the Trembita state electronic system.
- Entering into the register:
Young men aged 16 to 25 who live in Ukraine and apply for a passport will be entered in the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Military Conscripts and Reservists (EDRPVR) without the mandatory passing of the VLK. This also applies to those who are abroad and apply to Ukrainian diplomatic missions to obtain a passport.
- Formation of lists:
A list of male citizens of Ukraine aged 16 to 60 who are subject to entry into the EDRPVR and military registration will be created.
The draft resolution was developed by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, the State Migration Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The need to implement these changes was repeatedly discussed at interdepartmental meetings under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
These innovations will contribute to increasing the efficiency and accuracy of registration in the Unified State Register of conscripts, conscripts and reservists, as well as optimizing the process of identification of persons.
