The government approved the procedure for soil sampling after demining

Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine passed Resolution No. 844 “On Approval of the Procedure for Sampling Soils on Agricultural Lands Cleaned of Explosive Objects.”
The document was developed by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and is aimed at the rational use of land resources, restoring their productivity and reducing the negative impact of pollution on land that has been cleared of explosive objects.
The resolution provides for:
- approval of the order of soil sampling in the specified territories;
- conducting laboratory studies and preparing conclusions regarding the suitability of soils for growing agricultural crops, carrying out land reclamation or conservation;
- promoting the development of regions and the restoration of safe management on lands affected by hostilities;
- increase in the number of farms operating in areas cleared of explosives.
The document also emphasizes that the implementation of such measures will avoid manipulation of research results and provide an objective assessment of the soil condition. The implementation of the resolution is intended to protect the rights of business entities, promote environmental protection, ensure the restoration of agricultural lands and strengthen the food security of the state.
