The government has expanded the list of persons liable for military service who can travel abroad

On March 7, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine amended the Rules for Crossing the State Border by Ukrainian Citizens, granting the right to travel abroad during martial law to additional categories of conscripts. About this reported people’s deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko.

The deputy published a document according to which a certificate of postponement is required to cross the border in any case.

The right to leave was given to:

  • women and men whose close military relatives (husband, wife, son, daughter, father, mother or siblings) have died or gone missing in war since 2014;
  • family members (husband, wife, son, daughter, father, mother, brothers or sisters) of persons who were posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.

We would like to remind you that during the war, conscripted men aged 18 to 60 do not have the right to leave the country, but there are exceptions. In particular, officials, athletes, deputies and other persons can go abroad with special permits.
