The government has introduced the concept of “outpost community” for settlements near the front line

January 31, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced on the introduction of the concept of “community-outpost” for settlements located near the front line.

According to him, this is an experimental project aimed at strengthening cooperation between communities located in close proximity to the war zone or borders with Russia and Belarus. The initiative covers territories within a radius of 100 kilometers from the front line.

Shmyhal emphasized that this step is part of a broader policy of unity and mutual assistance. He reminded that previously a national platform of united communities “Side by Side” was created, which promotes cooperation between regions.

“The goal of this project is to involve as many rear communities as possible in supporting the “communities-outposts”. This can be done through the conclusion of special agreements, according to which humanitarian, social, medical, logistical, financial and other assistance will be provided.” – said the Prime Minister.
