The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine supported the initiative of the Ministry of Defense regarding the implementation of the “Wounded Package”. We are talking about a special set of adaptive clothing and personal hygiene products for wounded or sick military, police and civil protection service workers. The clothes in the kit are designed to be easy to put on even with limited mobility, helping the injured to maintain independence in everyday life.
The composition of the “Wounded person’s package” includes an adaptive T-shirt, shorts, sweatshirts (with short and long sleeves), pants, socks, barracks slippers, a towel, shampoo, antiseptic, napkins, a toothbrush and paste, as well as other personal hygiene products.
The women’s version of the set is supplemented with items that take into account special needs: a hair brush, hygiene products, cotton pads, cotton buds and a hair band. For bedridden patients or those with limited mobility, the set also includes a special feeding cup, an adaptive spoon-fork and other convenient accessories.
“This is another important step towards creating the best conditions for the recovery and rehabilitation of our wounded heroes”, – emphasized Umyerov.
