This payment was unprecedented for the head of a state-owned enterprise during the war. According to the decision of the supervisory board, the funds were to be transferred to Kudrytskyi’s account on September 4. The award amount includes full payments for 2021 and 2022, as well as half awards for 2023 and 2024.
Despite the fact that during the period of martial law, the payment of bonuses at Ukrenergo was canceled, Kudrytskyi put forward the condition that all the due bonuses be paid to him before his dismissal.
Earlier, Kudrytskyi said that his early dismissal from the position of the chairman of the board of the NEC “Ukrenergo” is not related to the issue of the protection of high-voltage substations from Russian attacks. He wrote about it on his Facebook page.
Kudrytskyi emphasized that the independence of corporate management and transparent business processes of the company are the key factors that made it possible to attract 1.5 billion euros from Western partners for the restoration and protection of the Ukrainian energy system.
“The supervisory board’s decision to fire me is not related to the security of Ukrenergo substations. I provided the members of the board with a detailed report on each facility, and no questions arose in this regard.”, – wrote Kudrytskyi.
He also noted that some reports in the media are distorting the real state of affairs, trying to tie his release to protective measures implemented in the country’s energy system.
