The Kremlin said that Putin is ready for negotiations with Zelensky

Vladimir Putin is ready “if necessary” for negotiations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. This was stated by Putin’s spokesman Dmytro Peskov, rosZMI reports.
“Putin himself said that, if necessary, he would hold negotiations with Zelenskyi” – said Peskov.
In his usual manner, Peskov again mentioned the alleged “illegitimacy” of the Ukrainian president, saying that “the legal aspects of the legitimacy” of Zelenskyi should be taken into account.
He also declared Russia’s “desire” to settle the war in Ukraine “predominantly by peaceful means.” At the same time, according to him, “the main thing for Russia is to achieve its goals in Ukraine.”
“Ukraine’s possible accession to the EU is Kyiv’s right, as it is not about a military alliance”, — added Peskov.
