The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially codified and approved for use in the units of the Armed Forces mobile repair workshops “Sky” developed in Ukraine. They are intended for maintenance and repair of unmanned aerial vehicles and complexes. About this reported press service of the Ministry of Defense.
“Sky” is a mobile tactical workshop that provides a wide range of repair, maintenance and assembly work, in particular for copter-type drones.
The workshop is housed in a metal container measuring 5.5 x 2 meters and 2.25 meters high, mounted on a two-axle car trailer. It is equipped with autonomous heating, lighting, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Inside, there are full-fledged workplaces with the necessary racks and containers for tools and components.
The basic version – “Sky 00” – has only the most necessary tools. Complete set – “Sky 01” – includes advanced equipment: charging station, compressor, laboratory power supply, welding machine, soldering station, tin suction, ultrasonic bath with degassing function, 3D printer, thread dryer, personal computer, wireless barcode scanners, grinding and engraving machines, FPV monitor, device for measuring radio signal power and other specialized equipment
The weight of the workshops varies from 1.5 to 2.5 tons, which allows them to be transported by military light tactical vehicles.
