The Ministry of Economy has published the details of the one-time assistance program “Winter eSupport”
Ministry of Economy made public details of the one-time assistance program “Winter is Support”, which will be valid from December 2024 to February 2025. This was reported by Yuliya Svyridenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
“During the winter, the state wants to support everyone who needs it. That’s why the government launches a program to help the population. We didn’t narrow it down to certain categories, because we can’t predict 100% how Russians will act in winter.”, – noted Svyridenko.
The program can be issued through the “Diya” application or through “Ukrposhta” for certain categories of citizens. To submit an application through Diya, you need to install the mobile application, open a “National Cashback” card at a partner bank, activate it in the “Services” section, select the “Winter isSupport” service and complete an application for assistance.
Before payment, the system will check whether the applicant is in the territory of Ukraine. Both adults and children can get help. One of the parents can issue a payment through “Diya” for each child.
Legal guardians, persons over the age of 65 or citizens without RNOCPP due to religious beliefs can apply to partner banks of the program, where they will open a “National Cashback” card to receive payments.
Pensioners and people with disabilities of groups 1 and 2 will be able to receive assistance through “Ukrposhta”. The list of recipients is formed by the Ministry of Social Policy. Persons who will receive payments through Ukrposhta will not be able to apply through Diya. Funds received through Ukrposhta can be used to pay for utilities or purchase Ukrainian goods.
