The Ministry of Health has received 3 thousand complaints against the MSEC: Lyashko announces large-scale reform of commissions

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has received more than 3,000 complaints about the work of medical and social expert commissions (MSEK), and in connection with this, their reform is planned. This was announced by the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko on the air of the telethon.
Lyashko called on citizens to contact hotlines and report violations in the work of the MSEC, if such cases occur. According to him, after receiving complaints, checks are carried out to confirm or deny the statements made.
The minister cited the example of Khmelnytskyi MSEK, where an inspection was sent after complaints were received. The results of the inspection were provided to the head of the regional administration for further work with the central regional MSEK, as serious problems were identified. As Lyashko noted, the results of this inspection were obvious.
In addition, the minister announced that the Ministry of Health is actively working on the reform of medical and social expertise. The reform will include “point changes” that should facilitate the process of passing the MSEC and reduce opportunities for manipulation. The general reform will involve changes in both the medical and social aspects of the work of the commissions, which will increase the effectiveness of their activities.
