The National Security and Defense Council will conduct an audit of the implementation of decisions of the Stakes: Umerov

Newly appointed Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umyerov reported, that the NSDC will conduct an audit of the implementation of the decisions of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

During the meeting with the NSDC Apparatus, Umyerov outlined the main tasks that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi set before the Council and its Apparatus.

“The focus is on effective coordination of the security and defense sector, audit of the implementation of the decisions of the Stavka and meaningful interaction with international partners on the issue of intensification of supplies and joint production of weapons. The National Security and Defense Council is not only an institution of strategic planning, but also an instrument of action. We have ambitious goals and defined tasks. We are working for results.” Umerov noted.

It will be recalled that on July 18 it became known about the appointment of the former Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov to the post of Secretary of the National Security Council. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that he had already discussed with him the work of the National Security Council and the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, as well as personal tasks in the field of defense and negotiations. Among the tasks announced by the head of state is active cooperation with partners in order to implement agreements on the supply of weapons.

“We must fully implement every agreement with our partners on the supply of weapons, as well as new special agreements on the creation of joint production facilities and the construction of factories on the territory of partners.” – emphasized the president.
