The Prosecutor General informed the Prime Minister of India about Russia’s war crimes against Ukrainian children

During the first official visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Ukraine, he held a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin. About this reported press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
During this meeting, Ukrainian children who became victims of Russian aggression were honored. They also visited a special exhibition called “Children”, which was created in June 2022 on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of children who died due to war. This project was organized with the support of the Prosecutor General’s Office and is housed in the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War.
Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin, during a conversation with Narendra Modi, emphasized the war crimes that Russia continues to commit against Ukrainian children. Since the full-scale Russian invasion, 570 Ukrainian children have died, but this number may rise, as information from the occupied territories is not yet fully available.
Russian shelling continues, which leads to an increase in the number of dead. The recent Russian missile attack on the largest children’s hospital in Ukraine, “Okhmatdyt”, further emphasized the need for international support to stop the aggression and protect the children of Ukraine.
