The recruitment centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received more than 45 thousand applications: Ministry of Defense
According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the number of appeals to the recruiting centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reached 45,657. About informs press service of the Ministry of Defense.
“The total number of applications to the recruiting centers of the Ukrainian army reached 45,657. In particular, 1,086 people applied in the previous week. Out of the total number of interested candidates, 9,379 candidates have already started the process of registration for military service. In particular, last week – that’s 216 people.” – the message says.
The agency noted that the share of women among those who apply to recruiting centers remains at 21%. The highest percentage of female candidates was recorded in Chernivtsi (44%), Khmelnytskyi (39%) and Vinnytsia (38%) regions.
Today, there are 49 recruiting centers of the Armed Forces in Ukraine, one of which is online. Most of the centers are located in the premises of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Their specialists provide confidential consultations, and on the territory of the centers it is forbidden to hold mobilization events and hand out summonses by alert groups.
