On the night of April 30, the Russian army carried out a massive attack on the Dnipro with the help of drones. A series of explosions rang out in the city. One person died, another was injured, informs Serhiy Lysak, head of the regional military administration.
“A difficult night for Dnipro. The enemy launched a massive attack on the city. A 53-year-old man was killed. Condolences to his relatives and friends. A 78-year-old local resident was injured.” – says the message.
The private sector suffered the greatest destruction. Fires broke out in several districts of the regional center, which the rescuers managed to quickly put out. One residential building was completely destroyed, several others were seriously damaged. One of the enterprises was also affected. In addition, the bureau of funeral services and a car were damaged.
“Utility services have already started work. We are also constantly in touch with rescuers and the police. It is currently known that one person was injured as a result of the shelling. We hope that this number will not increase.”, — added Mayor Boris Filatov.
The night before, the enemy launched attacks on the Nikopol district, using kamikaze drones on the territory of Myrivska and Pokrovska communities. Closer to dawn, the enemy opened fire from the “Grad” salvo rocket systems on Nikopol and the Marganets community. As a result of the shelling, the restaurant complex caught fire. Seven private houses, two garages and two cars were damaged. Power lines were also affected.
