Oleg Grigorov, head of OVA clarifiedthat three people died as a result of the impact:
“As a result of the Russian shelling of an industrial facility in the territory of the Sumy community, three people were killed. One of the men died on the spot. Another – in critical condition – did not make it to the hospital. The third victim died already in a medical facility. The deceased were 36, 29 and 41 years old.”
According to the Prosecutor’s Office of Sumy Oblast, a total of nine people were injured: six of them are in hospital, two are in intensive care. One person is being treated at home. As a result of the attack by the Russian Federation, one production facility was completely destroyed, and two more were damaged.
Under the procedural leadership of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation is underway in the case of war crimes that resulted in the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Investigative actions are carried out by the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region.
