On the night of May 1, Russian troops carried out a massive drone attack on Odessa. A series of explosions rang out in the city. As a result of the strike, two people died, 15 more were injured. All necessary medical assistance is provided to the injured. About this informs Oleg Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
“Due to the enemy attack, residential high-rise buildings, private houses, a supermarket, a school and cars were damaged. In some places, fires broke out, which our rescuers are extinguishing. As a result of the attack, two people died, another 15 were injured. Doctors are providing the victims with all the necessary assistance.” – the message says.
An air alert was declared in the region at 23:12 on April 30. Around 11:55 p.m., explosions began to ring out in Odesa. Before that, the Air Force warned about the movement of attack drones in the direction of the city from the Black Sea. As of 00:28 on May 1, at least 15 explosions were recorded in the city. The air raid alarm sounded at 00:38.
Operational and communal services are working on the ground to eliminate the consequences of the attacks and provide the victims with the necessary medical assistance. One of the schools suffered minor damage — four windows were broken. It remains open for everyone who needs support, where you can warm up and drink hot tea. In one of the high-rise buildings, the rescuers, together with the cooperation services, evacuated more than 200 people. Tents are also deployed on the ground to provide additional assistance.
