On the night of April 6 and in the morning, Russian troops carried out a combined air attack on Ukraine, using attack drones and missiles with anti-aircraft missiles. Kyiv, Mykolaiv and Kupyansk were under attack. As a result of shelling, civilians were injured, numerous fires, damage to buildings and cars were recorded.
Around five in the morning, a series of powerful explosions were heard in Kyiv as a result of a rocket attack. As reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration, fires broke out in three districts of the capital — Solomyanskyi, Darnytskyi and Obolonskyi. On the evening of April 5, three women were injured as a result of a drone attack on the private sector of Mykolaiv. One was hospitalized, the other two were treated on the spot. By information State Emergency Service, there was a fire in a 30-square-meter residential building, which was empty at the time of the attack. The fire also engulfed the gas network near another house, but both ignitions were promptly extinguished. In addition to houses, parked cars were also damaged. 15 rescuers and three pieces of equipment were involved in the liquidation of the consequences.
For message Oleg Synegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, as a result of a KAB aerial bomb hitting the 9th floor of an apartment building, the balconies from the 2nd to the 7th floor caught fire and four apartments caught fire. The total area of the fire reached 100 square meters. In addition, the building itself was damaged, and the windows in three neighboring high-rise buildings were also broken. A 67-year-old man and a 78-year-old woman were injured.
Rescue services continue to eliminate the consequences of the strikes. Authorities are urging residents not to ignore air-raid alarms and stay in shelters during times of danger.
