The situation on the border of Sumy region: 176 explosions were recorded

On December 14, Russian troops carried out 76 shellings of the border territories and settlements of the Sumy region, as a result of which 176 explosions were recorded. Enemy attacks were directed at the communities: Khotynska, Myropilska, Krasnopilska, Velikopysarivska, Esmanska, Seredino-Budska, and Sveska. About this reported Sumy Regional Military Administration.

In particular, the Krasnopil community came under fire from artillery (18 explosions), mortars (6 explosions), as well as attacks by FPV drones (8 explosions). As a result of these strikes, an apartment building and an office building were damaged. In addition, Russian troops dropped 4 VOG grenades from the drone.

In the Seredino-Budsk community, shelling from grenade launchers (30 explosions), mortars (6 explosions) and MLRS (6 explosions) was recorded. An FPV drone attack was also recorded (1 explosion). As a result of shelling, the administrative building was damaged.

The enemy directed NURS rockets (20 explosions), mortar fire (4 explosions) and FPV-drone attacks (1 explosion) at Velikopysarovsk community.

The Svesk community suffered artillery strikes (13 explosions) and FPV drone attacks (8 explosions).

In the Esman community, Russian troops dropped 9 mines, and in the Khotyn community, mortars (6 explosions), artillery (18 explosions) and FPV drones (17 explosions) struck.

In addition, a rocket attack was carried out on the territory of the Myropol community, and 1 explosion was recorded.

As a result of these shellings, several residential and administrative buildings were damaged. There is currently no information on civilian casualties.

Authorities urge residents of border areas to stay in shelters during alarms and to follow safety rules. The situation at the border remains tense.
