Kharkiv customs transferred almost 1.5 billion hryvnias to the state budget since the beginning of the year

Customs officers work in extreme conditions: under threat of shelling and during power outages.

During the first seven months of 2024, subjects of foreign economic activity in the area of ​​operation of the Kharkiv Customs sent 1.491 billion UAH of customs payments to the state budget. Average receipts for each working day amounted to UAH 9.8 million. About this reported in Kharkiv Customs.

Compared to the same period in 2023, customs payments increased by UAH 269.9 million, because in the first seven months of 2023 they amounted to UAH 1.239 billion.

The head of Kharkiv Customs Andriy Tanzerov noted that customs officials have to work in extreme conditions: under the threat of shelling and during power outages.

“But with the help of generators and fortitude we overcome these difficulties”, – said Dancers.

He also emphasized the importance of teamwork and support from local and international partners in ensuring the stable operation of the customs office, which allows it to effectively perform its functions even in difficult conditions.
